Based in San Diego, Elliot Feuerstein is a respected developer of retail shopping centers with anchors such as Target, Vons, Food 4 Less, Walgreens, and CVS. Among the properties that Elliot Feuerstein developed and has continued to manage are Euclid Shopping Center, Mesa Shopping Center East, and Brookhurst Shopping Center. He has overseen the municipal permitting and approval process and coordinated work with lenders to bring needed financing on board and take projects to completion.
He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, as a political science student in in 1970. Mr. Feuerstein was involved as a crew member in the TransPac sailboat race. His team placed third in Class B in the competition, which involved sailing from Southern California to Hawaii. A longtime member of the San Diego Yacht Club, Mr. Feuerstein also supports Catalina Island Search and Rescue and the Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation.
Elliot Feuerstein has served on the Jewish Community Foundation board in San Diego and been active in funding and developing the Barnes Junior Tennis Center, which provides children’s tennis education.
